Shelby Township to host Independence Day fireworks

SHELBY TOWNSHIP — Following a one-calendar year split due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shelby Township Downtown Progress Authority Independence Day Fireworks are again July 1 at Ford Subject Central Park at 7460 23 Mile Street.

The fireworks can be viewed all over the township’s Van Dyke Avenue industrial corridor with the epicenter at 23 Mile Road and Van Dyke.

Township Supervisor Rick Stathakis stated the fireworks clearly show isn’t just one that folks would want to miss out on.
